Doctor Ian Smith, a lieutenant in the HMS Justice, has the bad luck of meeting a pirate ship on his last journey before leaving the Royal Navy. When he learns the name of his captor, a certain Captain 'Bloody Henry' Plank, his luck takes a turn for the worse... or maybe not.
